When beginning with a 'blank slate', a thorough site inventory and analysis is the first step toward designing a Master Plan.
This 45 acre ranch was wind-swept, sun-baked and lacking in site cohesiveness. The name of the land inspired the use of a meandering 'Dry Creek Bed' to tie all the design elements together. View sheds were then preserved while providing logical spaces for access, shelter, shade, color and year long interest.
